Maureen concentrates her practice on employment law and litigation. Maureen represents, advises, and counsels executive and professionals in a variety of employment matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination claims, wrongful termination, leave requests, policies and procedures, internal complaints, workplace conflict, restrictive covenants, including non-compete agreements, and day-to-day employee matters. Maureen also reviews and negotiates severance agreements, offers of employment, and non-compete agreements for employees. The firm’s clients work in the fields of technology, biotechnology, health care, pharmaceutical, retail, higher education, secondary education, engineering, law, and construction.
Maureen approaches every matter with fresh eyes and a unique perspective to provide employees with additional insight and perspective when handling employment issues. Maureen aims to find a creative, efficient, and cost-effective approach to counseling. Clients appreciate her kindness, compassion, and sensitivity when navigating nuanced and complex employment issues.
Maureen graduated from Stonehill College and Suffolk University Law School. Prior to and during law school, Maureen worked as a litigation paralegal, at times specializing in employment law. During law school, Maureen worked full time as a paralegal and as a content editor for Suffolk University Law School’s Journal of High Technology Law. Maureen is a 2022-23 fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Association Leadership Academy and is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.
