Joshua Robbins is a Partner with the firm. He is a Boston employment and litigation attorney who represents executives and other professionals in conducting contract reviews, negotiating severance agreements, non-compete agreements, and other agreements, and counseling executives and other professionals on their rights following the termination of their employment. He counsels employees who have received disciplinary action, including warnings, performance improvement plans, and suspensions. He represents individuals in industries and fields including technology, biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, secondary and higher education, retail, manufacturing, design, and construction.
Attorney Robbins handles wage and hour cases, including overtime pay cases, tip pooling cases, independent contractor matters, prevailing wage, and earned sick time. He also represents employees in sexual harassment and discrimination cases. These include claims based upon handicap, race, gender, pregnancy, age, and other forms of discrimination. He assists employees with matters regarding reasonable accommodation, FMLA, PFML, and other protected leave-related matters.
Attorney Robbins has been selected to the list of Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2013 – 2023. He graduated from Trinity College and Suffolk University Law School. He practices before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the EEOC. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the Federal District Court in Massachusetts.
Attorney Robbins presented at MCLE’s 27th Annual Employment Conference in December of 2024 on legal developments in employment law. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and volunteers at the MBA’s Dial-A-Lawyer program. Attorney Robbins is also a member of MELA (Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association, Inc.).
