We are proud to announce that Maura Greene Law Group has again been recognized on Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Women-Led Law Firms list, which honors the contributions of women-led firms across Massachusetts. The list features firms ranging from mid-size, general service practices to boutique firms, all founded or currently led by women attorneys.
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly noted that Maura A. Greene has built her namesake practice from a solo operation into a team of eight employees, representing plaintiffs in workplace matters from offices in Boston and Worcester.
The publication described the firm’s collaborative model. The team draws on input from all members to refine how it works together and serves clients, stays flexible to meet the differing needs of clients and staff, and steps in to support one another as needed. Firm members are also active participants in the bar.
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly also noted that some clients have sought out Maura Greene specifically because she is a woman. The firm has trained multiple women attorneys who are transitioning into employment law from other practice areas, helping them build the skills needed to practice in this field. Its casework focuses on representing women who have faced denied promotions, workplace discrimination, and sexual harassment.
In 2026, the firm opened a second office on Main Street in Worcester. The expansion was undertaken to serve central Massachusetts, an area with limited access to plaintiff-side representation in employment matters. The firm’s growth from a single practitioner to an eight-person team reflects an increase in both its capacity and its geographic reach.
